This pattern works on, at least, the original Pac-Man arcade machine, the MAME emulator, and I'm told, the XBox 360 version.

Strawberry pattern additional instructions. In case it's not clear what is happening at these key times.
0:44 - press UP as soon as you see the 400
0:47 - sit against the wall and then press RIGHT as soon as you see the 1600
0:54 - press UP as soon as you see the 200
0:58 - press RIGHT as soon as you see the 1600
1:05 - a short, roughly half-second, pause (doesn't have to be exact) is necessary here in order to avoid colliding with the pink monster as you clear the board
