Müpa Budapest invites everyone to a playful meeting in November: with the help of the Müpa Melody Wheel, a unique, spectacular and interactive device, visitors are provided an opportunity to connect with music in an innovative and entertaining fashion. The musical machine, making its global debut, looks much like a music-box in terms of structure - only with huge dimensions. Volunteers can sound the instrument in a unique manner - they can operate the machine by walking ahead as if in a giant ‘hamster wheel’.

Enterprising visitors can themselves select the melodies they wish to play from different musical genres, ranging from Tchaikovsky to a tune from Harry Potter. The Müpa Melody Wheel is a good representation of the diversity of Müpa Budapest’s range of music on offer and of the fact that music is a source of joy at all times and in all its forms.

The Müpa Melody Wheel awaits playful visitors at the Allee Shopping Mall between 9 and 17 November 2015, from 10 am to 9 pm on Saturdays and from 12 am to 9 pm on all other days.
