My sons Switch overheated recently while docked and playing Fortnite.
I decided to take the back off and remove the old/dry thermal paste and replace with Arctic MX-4 paste.
Had a little dust in there too so a quick clean helped.
It is a simple job and takes no longer then 15mins but you really have to be careful removing the sd card reader as these can break easy with pins coming off the connector.
Fingers crossed it helps and does not overheat anymore?
