Can you see your live baits swimming with your present fishfinder? In this video you will see not only all of our downlines (the lead weights), but all of our swimming Herring. Why is this important? You can tell when fish are nearby, not just right next to the Bait. The weight shows us a strong parallel return. The Bait is a thinner return swimming gently up and down, but close to the weight. When you see the Bait suddenly move up or down and further from the weight, we know the Bait is trying to flee. This also tells us if the fish are higher or lower in the water column. If the baits are constantly pulling up, we know that the fish may be below the Bait. This sometimes means the lines are too deep and in need of more oxygen, either way we have more information to use. Simrad CHIRP Sonar let's you monitor all of your downlines in most conditions and situations. Be sure to pair your display with a CHIRP dedicated transducer and not a single frequency transducer to get all you can get from your display.

Medium CHIRP is great for freshwater and Saltwater less then 250 or so. (It works to deeper depths, but optimum in less than 300ft).

Airmar HIGH CHIRP Wide transducers are also excellent in freshwater and Saltwater to 500-600 feet deep. Tm185 and B175.

Airmar 275 High/Low wide CHIRP transducer is excellent for all sport fishing conditions including depths to over 1000 feet using low CHIRP. You will need an NSS EVO3 or a dual CHIRP processor to run both channels.
