This exquisite BMW 320i E21 of Manuel Santonastaso is one of the most spectacular and beautiful versions of the classic E21 in HillClimb Racing. Not only does it look good, but with around 300Hp moving only 850Kg, it is a properly quick machine.
And this one also benefits from a quite interesting engine unit. It is powered by a M42 power unit, tuned to emulate the spec of the racing-only S42B20 motor. That means displacement is increased from the original 1.8L form to a full 2.0L, alongside individual throttle bodies, two fuel injectors per cylinder, an increased compression ratio and a different cylinder head. The valve cover and airbox are now made from carbon fiber and the lubrication system uses a dry sump. Now producing around 300Hp/8.500Rpm, with a RPM limit set at 9.000Rpm, it becomes a proper Naturally Aspirated weapon.
But nothing better than hearing and watching it from both outside and inside to dissipate any doubts...
