Macaroni po-flotski (navy style pasta) is a Russian dish made of cooked pasta and stewed ground meat, fried onions and seasoned with salt and black pepper. Originally served in maritime forces, the dish became very popular in Russia because of simplicity, low costs and quickness of its preparation.
I like adding carrot to it and spice it up with chicken stock cube for a bit of flavour. Meat can be any but I prefer minced beaf.

150 gr spagetti
1 ltd of water
1 tbsp of salt
Meat:
150 gr of minced Beef
100 gr of chopped tomatoes
1 large onion
1 large carrot
1 tbsp of salt
1 tsp of pepper
1 chicken stock cube
PASTA:
1. season the boiling water with salt
2. add the pasta, ensuring it's completely submerged
3. cook for 10-15 min
MEAT:
1. season the meat with salt and pepper, mix well
2. heat the pan and add oil
3. fry chopped onion till golden
4. add grated carrot and fry for 10 min
5. add chopped tomatoes and simmer for 5 min
6. add meat and mix well
7. chicken stock cube will spice it up
8. add a bit of water and cover with a lid
9. simmer for 20 min
10. when ready, add pasta and mix well
11. serve with grated cheese
