Each is a subject matter expert in a wide variety of disciplines within the aviation industry, including commercial airlines leadership development, flight training, safety management, accident investigations, urban air mobility, academia and advocacy – which includes working to increase diversity across the spectrum of the industry and specifically the recruitment and retention of women in all aspects of aviation.
Dana Donati is the General Manager and Director of Academic Programs at LIFT, the Leadership in Flight Training Academy, powered by Republic Airways.
Kate Fraser is Joby Aviation’s Head of Safety, overseeing the safety of over 500 employees at four facilities. Joby is developing one of the world’s most advanced electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, designed specifically to pioneer the air taxi market.
Crystal Barrois is a Delta Air Lines Boeing 757/767 First Officer and the Manager of Pilot Development, overseeing the Delta Propel Pilot Career Path Program, of which Embry-Riddle is a partner.
Dr. Becky Lutte is an Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Aviation Institute. She conducts research on a variety of topics with a primary focus on aviation workforce development and the outreach, and the recruitment and retention of women in aviation.
Please note that the views expressed by the panelists are their own and do not represent the official position of the FAA’s Women in Aviation Advisory Board.
Aviation Outlook Webinars are live interactive conversations via Zoom with key aviation and aerospace leaders and trendsetters, many Embry-Riddle alumni, who offer their insights on the current state of aviation and what the future holds for these most dynamic and technical of industries.
