Released as both a single and an LP track in the same year, the audio comes from my 'Big 12 - Reggae Steady Go Vol 2' album. This is a nice uptempo number from Dave Barker, displaying a driving rhythm that is a feature of some of his other records, too.

In brief, the company behind Creole was a significant player in the growth and promotion of reggae in the UK during the 1960s, as the book ‘Tighten Up - The History of Reggae in the UK’ explains, and was active up until its 2003 purchase by Trojan owner Sanctuary - “bringing to an end a long and successful, if often low-profile, existence of an independent reggae company”, the book says. Across the years, Creole, through its many labels and in various media formats, has published 662 releases, according to Discogs data.
