One correction: Gussow's distant ancestor, Anne Bradstreet, arrived in Massachusetts in 1630, not 1620, on board the Arbella, not the Mayflower, as part of the Puritan expedition led by John Winthrop, not the Pilgrim expedition led by William Bradford.

When speaking of his table tennis coaches, Gussow mentioned George Braithwaite (Guyana), Atanda Musa (Nigeria), Renata Peluchova (Czech Republic), and Wally Green (Brooklyn, USA). He also mentioned Andrew Lin, who defeated him in the U-1100 event in the 2001 US Open Table Tennis Championships.
