The Ford Mustang has returned eight years after the start of the previous generation. The updated model of this storied sports car features a new design but resists the sirens of electrification for the time being. It was only unveiled in the US, but it still comes with a massive V8 engine because that's what Americans do best.
After being teased at an event in Detroit, Michigan, the next version of the Ford Mustang has now been officially unveiled. The iconic pony car presents itself with a completely new exterior and interior for the occasion, as well as the most potent Coyote V8 ever installed in a Mustang GT.
The Ford Mustang should uphold its stellar reputation. The classic V8 5.0 Coyote engine, whose power and performance are unspecified, is therefore available with the GT variant. A killer detail is that this enormous V8 can be made to growl remotely with the key, according to Ford, making it the most potent V8 Coyote ever created for a Mustang GT. Also introduced is a Mustang Dark Horse variant with excellent performance.
Finally, this 2018 Mustang's interior may have undergone the biggest alterations. The entire passenger cabin has been rebuilt, and it now has a double slab with the 13.2-inch SYNC 4 central touch screen and the 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster. For greater ergonomics, it is also angled toward the driver. The indoor ambiance is maintained via programmable lighting.
