Barn Owl 2022
This barn owl female acted like she was incubating for months but never laid eggs. Her mate fed her and would mate with her frequently. Two orphaned barn owls were brought to the Wildlife Hospital and need a home. In order to give the nestlings a home , we added two eggs on June 5, 2022 to the box the female started to incubate them. The following night we added two nestlings. The pair accepted them but unfortunately only brooded and did not feed. One nestling died fast while the other was taken out after less than a day to save it.
