Atlas II Journey Log 4.1
As beautiful as it was inhospitable, the stunning views of Alpha Centauri provided a brief respite from the dull blackness of the void as we journeyed onward through the dark. Here was a system of fiery hot stars, barren exoplanets, and deadly asteroids, so similar to our own yet so vastly different.
We searched for days for signs of life or water but to no avail, and after the seventh day the leadership decided it was time to move on. As we departed the outermost exoplanet, a streak of light outside the window caught my eye. Was it my imagination or were those tinted windshields I thought I saw flashing by? It must've been the gravity changes from ground recon messing with my head. The only thing here for us was coldness...
