Weddings don't always go exactly to plan, but as social distancing and travel restrictions due to Covid-19 continue, one celebration went ahead without the bride and groom.
Irish couple Danielle Sinclair and Paddy McEntee were due to return to Ireland from Denny in Scotland to get married in Trim, Co Meath yesterday.
The wedding could not go ahead but the three older sisters of the bride-to-be decided to give her an Irish wedding from their homes.
"We decided to get all dressed up in our wedding garb and made a video, made toasts, sang and danced all while remaining in our own homes," said Jemma Sinclair.
The video which was made as a surprise for the couple includes all the elements of a traditional Irish wedding: speeches, jokes, music and dance.
