There are a couple reasons why we may be stuck in emotional pain.
Lack of self analysis is one of them. It’s very common and understandable that we look for the answers somewh ere else but not inwards. Inner search is not something that we learn to do. Besides, we just don’t know how to do it.
10 questions for self analysis that will help you look for the answers in the best place possible - inside your mind.
For this inner practice find 15 minutes of quiet time. Take a phone or a notebook to write down insights from this practice.
So 10 questions for self analysis, self reflection and self assessment:
1️⃣If I want to become someone or to have something, do I meet the requirements of a person who has it? What skills do I need to meet those requirements?
2️⃣Am I doing what I love, is it bringing me the joy that I want and desire? Do I wake up every day excited to go to work or do my trade? If not, what is holding me back?
3️⃣How do I feel when I don’t get what I want: money, achievements, goals, expectations, attention.
4️⃣What is my biggest fear in life: losing loved ones, failure, dying, poor health? What do I need to do to overcome this fear?
5️⃣If I want something, what price will I pay for getting it? Hard work, consistency, gaining knowledge, saying no to bad habits, setting the boundaries, discomfort of new change. Am I willing to pay that price? If not, this will be your answer to the question why you still don’t have what you want.
6️⃣How much time in a day do I spend on browsing social media? Write down on average. Do I complain of not having time for workout or installing new habits? What do I need to do to create more time in a day?
7️⃣Who surrounds me? What kind of people do I attract into my life? What is similar between me and the people around me?
8️⃣What do I believe in? What are my beliefs about health, love, money, relationship, career, success. Are those the beliefs that can bring me the desired outcomes.?
9️⃣What part of my life did I make the most important ones? What do I need to focus on to be happier?
🔟What brings me the biggest joy? What worries me the most?
