Session: PowerNotes: Maximizing your Library Resources and Improving Digital Learning
Speakers: Kyle Zegarac and Jimmy Fleming, PowerNotes
Description: PowerNotes addresses the challenges inherent in source-based reading, writing, and studying. PowerNotes was designed to unify the steps of reading, gathering, saving, annotating, organizing, outlining, tracking, and citing research into a single, efficient workflow that feeds directly into the writing process. PowerNotes built an early feedback feature which allows students to share their research, at any stage, with faculty, librarians, writing centers, and peers so that it can be reviewed and corrections can be made earlier in the process, particularly for online and distance learning scenarios.
