International Day of Women and Girls in Science public lecture series
Inaugural Public Lecture
The School of Biology recognises the United Nations International Day of Women and Girls in Science with a public lecture introduced by the University of St Andrews Principal, Sally Mapstone.
We welcome Professor Dame Linda Partridge, leading scientist in the field of ageing and ageing-related diseases. Her lecture, Ageing Healthily, will discuss recent advances in prevention of ageing in humans without side effects, from repurposing existing drugs to understanding environment and dietary restrictions.
