I build a homemade 10 inch Disc Sander- or more accurately, I rebuild my 10 inch Disc Sander.
Version 1 was large and overcomplicated. In version 2, I simplify the design and make the sander into a benchtop model.

Benchtop tools are often expensive and it is much more fun and economical to build them yourself. You can also throw a motor that is WAY too powerful for the application in there for some added fun!
