This might just be a video of a white man on the back of an Asian dudes motorbike but it’s a lot more than that to me! 😊

This is a perfect example of how welcoming, helpful and kind the people of Laos are! Meet “Jack from Laos” 🤣

Molly and I were in a slot of bother after walking in 35 degrees Celsius for a few kilometres with all our bags in the sticky heat of Vientiane, the capital of Laos. We were looking for a tuktuk but was in the wrong side of Vientiane to find one! We didn’t know what to do other than to just keep walking the streets of Vientiane, Molly was not impressed.

Just when I started to loose all Hope of not having to walk the rest of the 4 kilometres, a very friendly local lao dude shouted over to us enthusiastically, “HELLO HELLO FALANG!”.

This was “Jack from Laos”, he helped us by giving us a lift on two motorbikes across Vientiane town. He’s such a nice character that a need to share him with the world!

I have so many amazing interactions with Lao people where they show the kindness of their heart but I’m usually not recording.
