The Mk.1 Male tank was originally known as a "land ship" and was used to try and break the stalemate of trench warfare. Available in both "male" and "female" versions (where the difference was the size of the installed armament) they were first used in the Battle of the Somme in 1916.
Join me in this video as I take a look inside the box of the 2019 release of this kit which is part of the Vintage Classics range, but the original tooling was first used in 1967.
