The Ukrainian military claims to have shot down a Russian Ka-52 ‘Alligator’ helicopter in Kharkiv region. Ukraine has previously claimed to have used the Piorun to take out Russian Su-24 & Su-25 aircraft, as well as a Mi-24 helicopter. Poland delivered the Piorun MANPADS to Ukraine just weeks before Russia’s February 24 invasion.
