Friday night was a night of violence in Macon. The city saw three homicides in a matter of 6 hours. The first happened just after 6 p.m. Friday on Emory Drive in Macon. According to the sheriff’s office, the call came in for a person unresponsive in the road. When they got to the scene, they found a man with a fatal gunshot wound, later identified as 31-year-old Joshua Griffin. Just hours later, two more people were killed, and Bibb Sheriff David Davis says those two homicides are connected. He says shots were fired during a gathering on Grier Street in the Pleasant Hill neighborhood.
