1. Arrival of French President Emmanuel Macron on stage
2. SOUNDBITE (French) Emmanuel Macron, French President:
"In a very clear way, what emerges from our concluding discussions is that it is not the West against the rest of the world, but the camp of peace against that of war. Russia cannot and should not win and so yes, our support for Ukraine, our sanctions against Russia will continue as long as necessary and with the necessary intensity over the next few weeks, and months."

4. SOUNDBITE (French) Emmanuel Macron, French President:
"Obviously, we all learned together yesterday afternoon of the Russian strike on the Kremenchuk shopping mall and we all condemned in the strongest terms this new war crime and its atrocity. If need be, it is the proof once again, that the Russian army has decided to use the sudden blast as an element of the conflict and attacks civilians."

6. SOUNDBITE (French) Emmanuel Macron, French President:
"The G-7 is also at the rendezvous to avoid a global war-related surprise. Indeed, the world is just emerging from the pandemic. Our economies are now facing another very significant economic shock related to the war, which is driving up energy prices, fuelling inflation and slowdown in many of our economies and causing concern in developed economies. Those in the G-7 as well as emerging or developing economies, which last night's discussions highlighted."

8. SOUNDBITE (French) Emmanuel Macron, French President:
"Now it is clear that the aggression launched by Russia on Ukrainian soil has an objective: the surrender of Ukraine. It is not called an objective negotiation and therefore we will continue to sanction Russia. We will continue to support Ukraine and its people in order to obtain either a complete victory for Ukraine, or the possibility in terms, at the time chosen by the Ukrainians, to conduct the negotiation that will be theirs on their terms. There are no other options supported by the G-7 and France. I see this more as a new element of verbal intimidation. Nothing more."

10. SOUNDBITE (French) Emmanuel Macron, French President:
"OPEC had made a commitment that there would never be a supply disruption. I salute their spirit of responsibility. That commitment has been kept. There have never been any disruptions. I would like to see a new step taken that will help us to hold prices, not by a cap, which was not the core of the American proposal, but by a necessary voluntary commitment. After all, this implies additional investments on their part. It is up to them to express themselves publicly on this subject and I will not make any expressions here in the place of this or that, but to thank them for their sense of responsibility."
