What a prosthodontics or a prosthodontist does is we tend to restore the biggest cases, the cases that Dentists have given up on
this particular model shows no functioning back teeth. And if I take all the bits and pieces off on
this case, you can see there's precious little of the tooth, there are a few left there. Only six top front
teeth and basically six bottom teeth as well and the rest are all very badly broken down. And with very careful preparation,
what I haven't done is is broken down and shows a root treatment and done so it's got a metal rod inside the tooth that restores the
tooth to normal shape over there

Basically when the teeth are restored, with multiple crowns over the teeth that will align the chewing function
normally. Yeah, this example shows missing some teeth on the top right hand side which I can put in two titanium screws and
make an implant bridge on the side as well which is closer to normal chain function so this will have back teeth to chew on
which will make this front teeth last a bit longer as well because as you can see, there really isnt much to chew on.
So basically I can have a full set of teeth again with a full set of teeth and full chewing function as well. Brilliant
