Perched on a hill overlooking the Bay of Toulon and the Canyons of Ollioules, Évenos is a French medieval village of the French Riviera. It is located in the Var department and is only a 20 minute drive from Toulon. Évenos is composed of 3 villages: Sainte-Anne-d'Évenos, Le Vieil Évenos and Le Broussan. The most picturesque is without a doubt the Vieil Évenos (Old Evenos). This village is built on a volcanic flow, and its basalt houses are grouped around the ruins of the medieval castle.
