Track Info: Kiana Ledé unites with American R&B-soul singer-songwriter Ari Lennox for “Chocolate.,” the fourth track from KIKI. The track is an ode to Black women, encouraging them to feel sexy in their skin.

The official music video was released the same day, and, due to COVID-19 restrictions, is a screen-recording of Ledé and Lennox dancing to the track over FaceTime.

The fourth song listed on Kiana Ledé’s ‘KIKI’, the artists collaborated with another chocolate soul/R&b artist, Ari Lennox, to create a slow and sexy duet.
Kiana had mentioned previously in an Instagram live stream that the song’s inspiration was based on her current boyfriend and the ways in which she is so attractive to him, as a black man, and uses chocolate as a metaphor to sensually describe his appeal and effect on her.
Based on the fact that it is a black female duet, many also interpret it as an anthem empowering the beauty of the black community in general.
Kiana had also mentioned upon an unsaved Instagram live stream that Ari and she had larger plans for the music video that was going to fulfill the sensual vibe embodied throughout the song that included an array of black men, but due to COVID-19, they instead playfully recorded a Facetime call of them dancing to the song.
