(Probably) the most famous lens in the world comes home. Stanley Kubrick used it to shoot the famous scene in Barry Lyndon using only candlelight. Now it has made its way to the ZEISS Museum of Optics. Only 10 of these lenses were made, 6 of them for NASA.
"In 1972, I was able to pick up the lens here in Oberkochen directly from the developers and now I'm bringing it back home on loan to the museum to honor the heritage of Stanley Kubrick," said Jan Harlan, Kubrick’s Executive Producer.
