🟧 The Standout Features:
It’s MPE - hell yes!!!
Can generate lots of interesting rhythmic patterns and melodic sequences at various octaves and various octave ranges
Rate can be FREE as well as synced!!! This is something you don’t often see in software arps
Multiplier button is a quick way to speed up / slow down a sequence by multiplying or divining the speed. However, it and several other controls would be MUCH more useful if they only changed value AFTER you released your finger. The lack of this affects how flexible this is for live performance
Can filter notes: all notes / only triplets / no triplets
Has a groove / swing function
Has a chord option, can add bass notes, control over how much polyphony there is - fantastic
Easy to jump steps, reverse, ping pong etc
Controls for probability and offset
Your patterns can be reset either by using a midi note as a signal or by setting a rate in beats. Eg if you choose 1 bar the sequence will be forced to reset every bar. You can get the arp itself to reset, and/or reset the lfos and the motion sequencer
Lots of modulation possibilities:
Mod wheel has an adjustable curve and can target 2 destinations
2 XY pads with lots of potential destinations for x and y axes and amount control for each
Keyboard has a scale function, but only has major and minor scales - room for improvement there
2 LFOs, loads of destinations, curve is hand adjustable, only 6 LFO types though, could have more
Has the fantastic Bleass motion sequencer
🟧 Overall:
Absolutely fantastic, will 100% be a smash hit. I mentioned a few areas where it could improve, but it is genuinely a very feature-rich arp. I love that out is MPE - meaning you can have per note live pitchbending arpaeggiation! - and has so many modulation possibilities. Would recommend it to anyone without a second’s hesitation and the price point is perfect, imo, not too expensive, not too cheap.
