YES YOU CAN remove the harp / plate of a grand piano with the strings still intact. Don't let anyone tell you different. I did it and here's how. This is the deconstruction, disassembling and repurposing of a grand piano THAT NO LONGER WORKED. It is 100% BROKEN. No one should ever do this to a good, playable piano!!
