A major problem with truck ownership is not having anywhere secure to store valuables or firearms. This is a two-part project. In video one, I will show a DIY modification that will transform the space behind the rear seat of a Toyota Tacoma into lockable / secure storage. In video two, I will show how to replace the factory plastic storage with plywood backing to create a surface to mount firearms or other gear.

Some may find the wiring part of this project intimidating. Don’t sweat it. You can do this! Take it slow and follow the wire diagrams. This is a challenging project but the reward is having a huge space to store valuables out of reach of thieves.
