This time, designer Veronica Etro used the inspiration of the hyped up Jazz Age as her backdrop and her inspiration with flowy dresses, flapper-style looks, fringe, and Art Deco in abundance. Block prints, black and white Art Deco, gold and other geometry were the de rigeur and the designer turned up the sophistication--no cartoonish prints here! The label took on the art work of Fortunato Depero to convey those ideas in their patterns which will definitely make this Spring/Summer 2012 collection at Milan Fashion Week another go-to garment bestseller.
