In this video I am showing how to render a fair skin tone with acrylic on canvas. In this portrait painting of a girl I am showing the step by step process of painting with acrylic colors without using any retarder. In this demonstration I am using only water mist to keep my paint moist in my palette. No retarder or any kind of medium is used in the entire process.
I have started this painting with a base coat of Yellow Ochre, Crimson and Permanent Orange. Then, I have applied many thin layers to achieve the desired effect of the skin tone and the effect of transparent cloths. Most of the blending is done with dry brush technique with minimal water on the palette.
