* Dal Lake - Shikara ride and houseboat stay
* Hazratbal dargah - do explore the local market outside it
* Chai Jaai Tea Room - It's a beautiful cafe made in British style serving authentic Kashmiri food and kahvah
* Krishna pure veg dhaba - awesome veg food
* Ahdoos restaurant for non-veg Kashmiri food
* Lal Chowk area for shopping
* Maharaja Bazar for dry fruits
* Mughal gardens- they are white and frozen in winters
