The world's coolest city prepares for fashion week
Just a few short years ago, London and fashion were regarded as a
mis-matched pair that could never be reconciled. But the international successes of designers like Alexander McQueen and John Galliano; a growing confidence among homegrown design labels and the world-wide hype of London as "the Capital of Cool" has changed all that. London Fashion Week begins soon (25th-30th September) and one of the hottest young labels is Copperwheat Blundell. This unique design partnership was formed by Pamela Blundell and Lee Copperwheat seven years ago. Both worked for a series of high profile designers before teaming up with a shared vision that combined Lee's technical ability of pattern and clothes construction with Pam's creative talents. The pair pride themselves on the cut and construction of each garment they design and produce.
