What are some common side effects of Kybella?
The most common side effects of Kybella are minimal bruising. There could be some injection site redness. There may be some numbness anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. In addition, there may be down tenderness at the injection site and some discomfort at the injection site. The most common side effect that we've seen is swelling of the treatment area. The swelling can last anywhere from a few days to a full week just depending on the amount of injected that's the one side effect that I really counsel our patients about because it can lead to some more downtime than a typical injectable.
