(Tim Sway told me that the wood used for the handle is Cumaru and is from Brazil) Thanks again Tim for the incredible gift of such amazing wood.
I've had this hatchet for nearly 20yrs and it has traveled all over the country with me hacking and hammering as needed. After watching an axe restore video on the BrothersMake channel I figured it was time to show my little hatchet some love. It's not an actual 'restore' as I'm not trying to bring it make to it's original condition other than removing the rust and sharpening the blade.
And of course I had to add my own personal touch and engrave my logo and a design into the axe/hammer side of the tool.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video.
