【Pls look at the top comment first】The sound quality is not good, because this song is a quite rare but valuable demo which is not included in neither studio albums of the band White Sister as they released two albums in 1984 and 1986.
Speaking of White Sister, this name may be remembered by very loyal and huge aor fans even though they have become a past name in history. Formed in Burbank, California, they started music activities in 1980 and performed in local clubs during early days. On a certain evening they met Gregg Giuffria from the band Angel at a gas station and wound up working with him to assist with song arrangement, leading Giuffria to produce White Sister demos and eventually, their debut album released in 1984, on EMI America Records.
I post all the pictures of a four-piece band , but this line-up was just from their debut. The keyboardist Garri Brandon left the band and went on to do multiple TV appearances and tour with British pop sensation John Parr before White Sister released their second album titled "Fashion by Passion (1986)" on the FM Revolver label.
Both of their studio albums were welcome and received warm response, especially they won greater popularity in UK even than in the United States. Besides, they also recorded some demos after the second album released during late 1980s, and my recommendation is also my favourite of White Sister. Forgot the poor quality of sound, this demo track is perfectly written along typical 1980s aor route.
The boom of Grunge was a hard blow to hair metal and melodic rock that caused lots of hair metal and melodic rock bands breaking up. How broken those years were ! White Sister was no exception during those periods of time. The reunion of White Sister can date back to 2008 and 2009. Their former keyboardist Garri was back with Jason Montgomery joining the band on drums because the former player Richard Wright died in 2006. They were invited to play the Firefest rock festival in UK. A full-length concert DVD of their 2008 Nottingham performance was filmed and released in 2009. The band was invited back by the festival organizers in 2009 for an encore performance, but this, possibly their final White Sister show, was not filmed professionally. That indicated their music career came to the end.
It is worth mentioning that the former bassist and vocalist Dennis Churchill has been dedicated to his solo career. Check out his facebook page "Dennis Churchill Dries" and his official website to follow his solo album and latest stuffs. From his facebook, he posted the pictures of the early years of White Sister in memory of their youth, what a nostalgia! Don't forget 1980s and the glorious time of melodic rock, because these sounds will never become has-been since hard-die fans like us always listen, give them thumb-up, buy albums and spread them to people all over the world.
