The Life of Jesus: The Good Shepherd. As a kid you are told not to go with strangers. It’s hard to know who to trust. Jesus calls himself the good shepherd, because he would lay down his life for his sheep. The sheep in this instance are us, all of humanity! The good shepherd know his sheep, so Jesus is no stranger at all!
