The 1.19 update for Applied Energistics 2 (AE2) has made some major changes to how you acquire Certus Quartz in your world. Certus Quartz Ore has been fully deprecated and is no longer a part of the mod.

In its stead, we now have a system similar to Amethyst. Certus Crystals grow out of Certus Blocks and can be mined at different stages to get Certus Quartz or Certus dust. This also changes how a few different other AE2 systems work. Crystal Growth Accelerators now need to be placed around these Certus Blocks to improve grow speed rather than the old water and seed method.
