More than 100 people died in a stampede at a religious gathering in Phulrai village in Hathras district of UP. The death toll is continuously increasing after the accident. This accident happened at the end of the satsang of Narayan Sakar Hari or Sakar Vishwa Hari alias Bhole Baba. Narayan Sakar Hari or Sakar Vishwa Hari alias Bhole Baba was born in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. The real name of the Baba during whose satsang the stampede occurred is Suraj Pal. Bhole Baba, born in village Bahadur in Patiyali tehsil, calls himself a former employee of the Intelligence Bureau. In his sermons, he claims that earlier he used to work in the intelligence department of the police. 26 years ago, he left his job and started doing satsang. After coming into the field of preaching, Surajpal changed his name to Sakar Vishwa Hari. He is also known as Bhole Baba.
