I recently unearthed this old cassette from around 1986 from my first radio job at WMBN 96.3 FM in Petoskey, Michigan. The station had a very large coverage area and the music was well received....beautiful music/easy listening. I have included the coverage map and a funny newspaper ad they took out promoting me and my "team" as I was the news director at the time. Kind of funny as I did it all...attended the school board/city hall meetings at night and did the newscasts during the day. The "team" was the wire machine I guess. One of my first reports heard on the air is included at around the 25 minute mark...a funny story about duck hunting season. Jim Scollin did the morning show and you will hear him on this tape.
