Sergeant Yehonatan Elias was killed as a result of anti-tank missile fire in the southern Gaza Strip. These latest casualties bring the Israeli military's toll in the Gaza ground offensive to 294. Israel is currently withdrawing its army from several northern Gaza areas, according to reports on May 31. The IDF has started the withdrawal from Jabalia, Tal Az Zaatar, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun, as per Al Jazeera.
