She was always positive about Michael until September 1993 when things rapidly started to change -- with Jack Gordon's prompting. I found this interview interesting to compare to what Michael said.
ABC flew to Spain 5 days before Michael's Oprah interview to talk to Latoya about what Michael might reveal. Bits of this interview were shown leading up to it. Fragments from the news sections together here.
What is interesting is she states Michael sometimes has got physically sick knowing Joseph is going to be in the audience of a show. Michael would later say he has got physically nauseous and regurgitated because of Joseph's presence.
She also states Michael used to play a game with her, where he had asked her to close her eyes and picture Joseph dead, and ask if he would be sorry and miss Joseph at all. Many years later, on the Michael Jackson tapes, Michael would say he played this very game but he said it was with Janet. Maybe it was with both sisters, his memory recall was inaccurate or he deliberately substituted Latoya's name for Janet. Whatever the case maybe, Latoya said it first.
