This is an excerpt from a long beat improvisation that will eventually make it onto an EP or mix or as an artists release. I am using the drum machine inside the DJ505. Separately I am playing percussion sounds on the spdsx and running that through the sp404A for compression. I also have a Roland TB3 playing the bassline. I am looping live percussions sounds as well. All of the machines are midi synced through midi cables.
