Here we have a Yamaha U1 upright acoustic piano manufactured in approximately 1969 and completely refurbished by Yamaha. The Yamaha U1 is regarded by teachers all over the world as a great piano for both beginners and experienced pianists. Its size gives it a deep depth in its tone and the key action is quick and responsive with lovely tonal changes too! Externally the polished ebony cabinet looks good. There is a slight mark on the lower left leg that I have tried to capture in the photos, there is usual minor wear and tear but overall I think it looks great. Internally its very clean, at concert pitch and has no issues. It has been back through the Yamaha factory and comes with a 5 year Yamaha guarantee for peace of mind. Yamaha pianos are built to stand the test of time and this piano will most likely outlive me and generations after me. It looks great, plays beautifully and I think this piano excellent value for money.
