After almost 3 weeks in Fort Lauderdale, we’re finally ready to sail across to the Bahamas. We apologize for the long video but we had a lot crammed into the time we spent here so hopefully you enjoy it anyway (and make it all the way to the end lol)!
It’s our first time preparing and provisioning for the sail and we can’t be more excited to share this exciting part of our journey down south!
We had a long list of things to get done prior to departing the US including: a big provisioning, rigging checks, renting a car to run around, buying and installing our new watermaker, covid-19 testing and applying for our Bahamas Travel Health Visas. Oh, and to fit some beach time and iguana catching in there, of course!
We hope you enjoy the video and the next time you see us, we should be in the beautiful clear tropical waters of Bimini, Bahamas!
