Chennai Encounter | Tamil Nadu police encountered two history sheeters in Guduvancheri near Chennai. The deceased have been identified as Chota Vinoth (35) and S Ramesh (25). They are known to have a long rap sheet with 50 and 20 cases pending against them respectively. The duo allegedly attacked a sub-inspector on the outskirts of Chennai. A 4-member gang in a speeding black Skoda attempted to hit an SI. When they tried to attack the officers, police opened fire on the accused. Full story here
