This week marks National Glaucoma week.
The project between the World Glaucoma Association and the World Glauoma Patient Association contributes to the elimination of blindness by alerting people to have regular eye checks.
The theme this year is Green which is urging people to go an get their tests.
A local optician is supporting this by giving out advice and support.
