Made from inexpensive wooden craft store trays, follow along in this edited Facebook Live tutorial as IOD stockist Michelle of @serendipityhousellc in Southern New Hampshire shows you how to paint, use scraps of IOD Transfers, and pour epoxy resin to create unique kitchen decor. A perfect resin craft project for beginners!

This DIY home decor technique can be customized to match your interior design style or you can even use IOD letter stamps to make a monogrammed DIY serving tray. So many possibilities!

Before you jump in, a couple of important notes...
* lease wear gloves when working with epoxy resin and follow all safety precautions listed on the packaging.
* Michelle mentions "burnishing the transfer" after applying it to the tray. This is simply rubbing the transfer in a circular motion with the smooth side of the transfer backing. This ensures the image fully adheres to the project surface. When pouring epoxy resin over a transfer on a tray, this is an optional step because the resin will eliminate any possible lifting of the image. However, if you're rubbing a transfer on a piece of furniture or not using epoxy resin, you'll want to make sure to burnish it well.
