Shakespeare & Racine Series (en Français - In French) - Phèdre est une tragédie en cinq actes et en vers de Jean Racine (1639-1699) créée le 1er janvier 1677 à Paris sous le titre Phèdre et Hippolyte. Racine n'adopte le titre de Phèdre qu'à partir de la seconde édition de ses Œuvres en 1687. La pièce comporte 1 654 alexandrins. Inspirée de la mythologie grecque, la pièce met en scène l'amour conçu par Phèdre, femme de Thésée, pour Hippolyte, fils de Thésée et d'une Amazone.
