The way that the mafia in Italy operates has changed a lot since the 1990s. The violence that once permeated parts of Italy, with events such as the Capaci bombing which took the life of Judge Giovanni Falcone and his family, has morphed into a much more covert operation.
Alessandra Gancilla, a teacher in Rome, explained how and why she teaches young people about organized crime.
